2 Day Beginner Upholstery Class

Our 2 day beginner upholstery classes will give you a basic introduction to the 3 key styles of upholstery.

10 am – 5 pm Full day class (1 hr break for lunch and cleaning)
£160 + materials used during your classes (billed separately once the class has run)

That you understand the rules about travel quarantine where stipulated by the government. To ensure this is not a problem for us please make sure you are able to attend these dates allowing for personal quarantine as stipulated by the government in between any time spent abroad and the beginning of your class.

You are confirming that you understand and accept that cancellation of classes may occur depending on government advice in response to local lockdowns. in the event of a cancellation a replacement class date will be sought

We are sure people are now aware of and are becoming more familiar with the governments track and trace system, we must be ready, if required, to submit your attendance information.

Advice and course content will be updated to conform with the government guidance and should be correct at the time of booking.

It is not currently possible to get public liability insurance that covers for Covid 19 specifically, there for signing up for classes is purely on the understanding that whilst accidents and injury are covered, illness a result of attending a class is not. But signing up to these terms you are agreeing in both principle and practice that school of upholstery will do all that we are able to put in place to ensure you feel safe in class.

You are paying the fees for tuition; materials will be paid for at the end of each cluster of classes.

Our 2 day beginner upholstery classes will give you a basic introduction to the 3 key styles of upholstery. Foam filled modern upholstery, Natural filling modern upholstery and Traditional upholstery. The tools required by each of the upholstery styles and how to source fillings. An introduction to frame repair and restoration, textile selection and planning projects to help progression rather than being swamped or burdened by projects. Advise is happily given to steer you on course for the right kind of project for you personally. Hand toolkits can be provided on land for the duration or sourced for purchase.
