Description
Learner Agreement
Deposit
The Deposit payment of £500* is an online only booking fee and secures a candidates place on the course. All candidates must book on through the website. The deposit has a 14 day cooling off period after booking which is in line with Uk Consumer law. After that the deposit fee becomes non refundable by default but as we are small business teaching face-to-face we will work with you to resolve any situation arising and aim for a mutually agreeable outcome on an individual basis.
Stage payments
10 Staged payments will be invoiced monthly on the 21st of each month during the course payment s due and begin on the month where the course starts and end in June the following year. The amount owed each month will remain the same throughout the course. The monthly fee covers the ongoing course costs, specialist tuition and all sundry materials used with the course itself including covering the costs of the exercise pieces.
Fabrics, coverings and trims for the assessment pieces are the responsibility of the student learners.
One-off and speciality material orders are not covered by the studio exercise fee. Any additional fees will be discussed with the learner in full in advance of requirement.
Cancellation of the learners place requires a written submission requesting your intention to with draw from the course, we will of course work together to ensure if you are withdrawing we are able to fill your place with another candidate, however we may not always be able to do this. Any reduction in the liability for the full fee is discretionary depending on length of time either ahead of the commencing date of how much tutored time has been delivered. We of course will do all we can but as a small business the impact of withdrawing from the course prematurely of requesting to suspend the course simply has to be something we are able to offer without compromising the delivery for the remaining student/candidates.
Bursary Payments
Where a candidate has been able to secure funding or a bursary, the awarding body will be invoiced in advance of the classes commencing and the bursary fee will deducted from the monthly staged payments.
Cancellation a bursary place requires a written submission requesting your intention to with draw from the course, we will of course work with the funder to ensure the liability for the fee is covered, we will do all we can to minimise the financial burden of withdrawing but as a small business the impact of withdrawing from the course prematurely or requesting to suspend the course, simply put, has to be something we are able to offer without compromising the delivery for the remaining student/candidates in the class.
